EXPORT DUTY AND TAXES
Customs duty in the EU should NOT be charged on our products that are manufactured in the UK, or in the EU. Our customs invoice states the country of origin for all products.
Value Added Tax (VAT) is included in product prices on shopping pages and in the shopping basket page. When an order is placed we refund the UK VAT back to your payment card immediately and issue you with an export invoice excluding VAT. The ex VAT prices are used when shipping the goods. Our shipping prices exclude VAT for all destinations outside the UK including the Channel Islands.

Payment of Taxes and Duty outside the United Kingdom
Any duty or taxes payable on importing the products is the sole responsibility of the buyer as well as any customs clearing fee charged by the carrier. If the goods are returned to us because the buyer has not paid these, we will refund the product amount, but not the shipping charges.
This also includes The Channel Islands (Jersey, Guernsey, etc).
CURRENCY
All prices are in GBP (GB Pounds).
If you are ordering from outside the UK your order payment with Ruth White Yoga Products Ltd will be converted from GBP into your currency by your credit card company when they process the transaction. Please remember that currency rates change all the time and even the online currency conversion rate displayed here may differ to the rate when your transaction is processed by your credit card company.

CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS
Our secure payment is through Shop Pay, which can process credit card and debit card payments. Shop Pay has over 150 million users worldwide. We accept most card types with the exception being American Express as their processing fees are too expensive.

Applepay and Googlepay payments are accepted.

You can pay securely with PayPal.

PRIVACY & PERSONAL DATA HELD
When you request to receive our monthly newsletter and offers, your information is NOT shared with any other companies for marketing purposes.
By placing your order you are offering to buy the goods and permitting us to use your personal details for the purposes of supplying goods. This including passing your details onto our carriers and the secure card clearing company in order to process your payment . We DO NOT pass on your email address to any other organisation.
Our carriers require your address details to deliver your goods. Our carriers also use your email and/or your mobile phone number to send you delivery details to manage your order.
MAILING LISTS/NEWSLETTER
If you want to unsubscribe from our email mailing list, you can do this by clicking the unsubscribe link on your monthly newsletter email you receive. Your email address will remain on the system as unsubscribed, so that you will not be re-added to the email mailing list again. You may also request that your details are removed from our system by writing to the address below or by emailing us.
PHONE ORDERS
Credit card details for manually produced orders taken over the phone are NOT stored. The paper forms are cross cut shredded when disposed.
LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES
We encourage you to read the privacy statements on the other websites you visit. Ruth White Yoga Products Ltd cannot be responsible for the content in third party websites. Most of our website links are to reputable organisations such as the standards compliance organisation Oeko-Tex, or our own localyogaclasses.co.uk free yoga directory.
ORDERING FROM RUTH WHITE YOGA PRODUCTS LTD
We are not obliged to supply the goods to you until we have confirmed acceptance of your order and this is when the contract is made. Your credit card payment will be deducted before the goods ordered are dispatched, and this will usually be within 48 hours of the goods being sent. Goods remain the property of Ruth White Yoga Products Ltd until we have received payment in full.
We reserve the right to alter our prices and specifications without notice. Prices and offers are subject to change and availability, as new stock is purchased.
DISCOUNTS
Discount codes are usually allowable on one order only and are not re-usable.
TEACHER & TRADE DISCOUNTS
Our previous website allowed yoga teachers to order small quantities with a discount. Moving to Shopify website has meant we are not able to offer this option, but we have Teacher & Trade Packs which are available on the new sites and are discounted from normal pricing.
Teachers & Trade Packs can be viewed from the main menu drop-down at the top of the web page.
ORDER CONFIRMATION
A copy of your order is displayed for you to print and a copy is emailed to the email address you have provided. A copy of your order will accompany goods to the buyer's address.
BACS Payments - We accept BACS payments from teachers, studios, government establishments, schools and customers based outside the UK.
PURCHASE ORDERS
We can accept official purchase orders from UK government organisations including schools, colleges, prisons, social services, NHS etc. Please call 07769 207880 or email ruthwhiteyogasales@gmail.com for details. Payment can be accepted by BACS.

NORTHERN IRELAND AND EU RESTRICTIONS
GPSR - The General Product Safety Regulation rules (GPSR) came into effect on 13 December 2024. It will require us (and all GB businesses) selling into Northern Ireland and The EU to conduct detailed safety assessments, keeping documentation for each item and supplying evidentiary compliance paperwork for each product we sell. It will also require us or the original manufacturer to put in place a 'Responsible Person' based in either NI or the EU who will be accountable for compliance with the regulations.
Through our supplier network many of our products comply with the regulations. However, those that do not cannot be sold into EU/NI until the UK Government clarifies the situation with regards to the Windsor Framework covering trade and the latest situation with GPSR to Northern Ireland.
We are a family business and unfortunately the cost involved to implement these new regulations are prohibitive and costly in addition to the other Brexit regulations already present.
